Perhaps it's because I'm really sleepy, but I just realized that people move incredibly slow. I was walking across my floor to my door, a distance of maybe four feet from where I had been standing, and it seemed to take forever. I felt like I was there before I actually arrived. Amazing how much time people spent simply travelling between locations. Maybe that's why I want to have everything I need in one house, except for maybe food (while I have no problem with growing vegetables and apples and things, we're not exactly zoned for citrus, and I love oranges...).
